1. Be ready to walk!

The property is a 200-meter walk from the parking, and is spread along an entire orchard and requires walking around, including stairs to access the river.

2. No Loud Music or Speakers

We love music too—but headphones and unplugged jams are the Mashru way.

That said, we'll happily set up our music system for you, your music, our volume!

3. Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 8 AM

Mashru is for peace-seekers. Kindly keep the noise low at night to

respect nature and fellow guests.

4. Respect the River

Please avoid littering or using soap/shampoo near the river.

Let’s keep Tirthan clean and wild.

5. Non-Smoking Indoors

Smoking is not allowed inside rooms or common indoor areas.

Outdoor corners and balconies are designated for it.

6. River Safety is Your Responsibility

The river is icy, wild, and wonderful—but slippery too. Swim or dip at your own risk.

7. Help Us Minimise Plastic

We discourage the use of single-use plastics on the property. Filtered water is always available. You are encouraged to take back wrappers, cans, and those tempting Maggi packets as the region lacks any form of waste management at

this time.

8. Limited Room Service

We encourage dining at our common spaces to retain the estate’s natural

charm and communal vibe, only tea/coffee/water refills are available in the rooms.

9. Pet-Friendly, Not Pet-Negligent

Pets are welcome! But please ensure they don’t disturb other guests or wildlife.

10. Air conditioning isn’t a thing here

While it may feel hot on certain days, specially when you step down from your car in the middle of the day, trust us, the cool wind from the balcony and window and the fan is more than enough.

11. Be Kind to Critters

You’re next to a national park—unexpected guests (read: bugs, birds, or geckos) might drop by. Don’t panic, don’t squash—just call us, and we’ll show them

the way out.

12. Dinner’s on Himachal Time

Out here, we sleep with the stars and rise with

the sun. Dinner is served early—usually between

8–9:30 PM. Let’s eat while the fire’s still crackling.

13. Staff Are Hosts, Not Servants

Please treat the team with kindness and respect.

They’re part of the Mashru family.

14. Check-In With Nature, Check-Out Mindfully

Check-in time: 2 PM

Check-out time: 11 AM
