When: Throughout the day, based on weather and season, it’s advisable to check with the fly fishing guide on when to fish. Fishing is not advised after rainfall as the river might swell up unexpectedly.

a fishing license.
Description: Embark on a mission to catch the elusive brown trout, swimming in the icy Tirthan river right under Mashru.
Our fly fishing guide shows and teaches you how to fly fish,
using hooks, bait, and the fishing rod. All fish are on a
catch and release basis as per the norms of the
Great Himalayan National Park.

Where: We have 2 options here, one is right here in our garden. The other is a short walk away (need to find a spot)
By Whom: Our team sets up the picnic area, with a picnic basket, cutlery, picnic mat, and cushions. Once you are done with the picnic, our staff will clear after you.
Requirement for Mashru to start: Picnic basket, picnic mat, seating cushions
Requirement from Guests for the activity: Pack some games, your own extra snacks and drinks, and remember, each packet of plastic you take with you, MUST be brought back.

Description: Go on a birdwatching early morning with a trained guide in a pre-decided area according to the group size and distance willing to travel. Spot locals and visitors alike, including Paradise Flycatcher, Black Bulbul, Pied Kingfisher, White Capped and Plumbous Redstart, Oriental Turtle Dove, Himalayan Griffon, Indian White-eye, Yellow billed blue magpie, Green Backed Tit and many many more. After all, you are at a UNESCO World Heritage site!

Sip and Paint

Description: Today’s agenda - Day drinking and painting! Sit in our garden and identify a landscape you’d like to paint. There’s no wrong selection. Our team will guide you a little on best ways to go about it, and then it’s over to you!

Description: Let us host you our way, an evening that starts with a round of Tambola, followed by another activity of your choice (need 4 activity options here). Enjoy some light music, barbecue/dinner and once everyone is in the right spirit, we call upon the spirits and tell some ghost stories!

Where: Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
When: You leave for the trek in the morning, so you can return
within day light.
By Whom: A trekking guide will be leading your group.
This is mandatory to enter the park.
Requirement for Mashru to start: Rates from Pulkit and one
tour for Laksh.
Requirement from Guests for the activity: Pack water, light snacks, insect repellents, sunscreen, and your camera/binoculars. You’ll spot a lot!
